We live on the outskirts of a small town at the north end of the Sacramento Valley in California. We're surrounded by rice fields, fruit, and nut orchards. We also live close to excellent fishing and waterfowl hunting. We do most of our coon hunting on private duck clubs, during their off-season. Good bear hunting is within an hour or two drive.

Here's the place we call home, for now anyhow. We rent this little singlewide mobile on 5 acres. We have great landlords and the room to make a comfortable place to live for ourselves, the dogs, the guinea pigs, the chickens and the cows.
We had hoped to move back to the Midwest, but it doesn't look like that will be happening for several more years.
