For 14 years we lived on the outskirts of the small town of Oroville at the north end of the Sacramento Valley in California. We were surrounded by rice fields, fruit, and nut orchards. We also lived close to excellent fishing and waterfowl hunting. We did most of our coon hunting on private duck clubs, during their off-season. Good bear hunting was within an hour or two drive.
In July 2010 we moved to north-central Iowa.
This was our place in Oroville, CA. We rented this little singlewide mobile on 5 acres for 14 years. Our landlords were awesome about the variety of critters we've owned over the years.
