Casey is a 3rd generation baby from our breeding program; a daughter of our now deceased Jessy. She's the result of an AI breeding that had been in the works for a couple years. The first shipment of semen got too warm and was no good, so a second collection had to be sent the next day. With the time difference between NC and CA, it was a mad scramble resulting in the box being dropped off virtually moments before Fed Ex made its last pick up of the day.
Problems during the pregnancy left us with only one pup born alive and here she is!! We affectionately call her "Half-Baked Casey" as she was born early.
Casey's been a little slow to get going in the woods at night, but she knows what to do and is starting to get the job done. She's always been a much better coondog during the day. She's bawl on track and tree with an awesome super-long locate. So far she seems to be medium-hot nosed and has a very classy "feet on the wood, head back" tree style.
She qualified for the 2010 World Show and Zone Hunt, but we weren't able to take her.

Thank you to Wes and Diann Stine of Ohio for selling Rosie to us. She was the only female in her litter and we were very excited to be able to purchase her after learning that her mother couldn't be bought and didn't have any sisters either.
Rosie has a pedigree containing several really nice show dogs, but it wasn't those show dogs we were most attracted to. In the fifth generation she goes back to our Rebel dog's grandfather twice and also to Rankin's Lead. This is why we are looking forward to including Rosie in our breeding program!
Rosie hasn't been hunted steadily, but she can definitely run and tree her own coon. She's very accurate and hasn't messed with any trash, so far.
Update Nov '11: Rosie finishes to Grand Field Ch with 1st line and tree at Millstadt, IL.
Update Dec '11: We hope to raise a litter from Rosie in 2012. Pedigree for that litter is on our Upcoming Litters page. After pups are weaned, Rosie will be for sale.

Dusty is co-owned by and lives with Bill Poe in central California. He hunts her on bear, fox and coon. She's the only living daughter of our Rebel dog.
She's about 70 lbs in good weight. She has a loud bawl on track and a bawl/chop on tree. She's a hard tree dog, a good swim dog, and a good kill dog. So far she has one litter on the ground, born in August 2008. Reports are that they're good bear dogs.
